On the evening of 1 March 2026, Hantong Health Technology Sdn Bhd was privileged to attend the Malaysia TCM Acupuncturists Professional Association (马来西亚中医师针灸专业总会) Annual Chinese New Year Dinner — as one of only three non-practitioner organisations to receive a formal invitation.
The evening brought together the most distinguished figures in Malaysia's traditional Chinese medicine community, including the Association's President Dato' Lai Ka Seong, the President of the Federation of Chinese Physicians & Acupuncturists of Malaysia Dato' Ho Teck Khoon, and the President of the Malaysia Chinese Medicine Association Heng Yik Theng. The gathering also welcomed prominent business leaders including Sea Gull Group Chairman Chen Jinggang, as well as academic advisors and industry veterans from across the sector.
For Hantong Health Technology — a company that operates at the intersection of traditional Chinese medicine philosophy and modern health technology — being recognised as a valued non-practitioner partner by the Association is a profound acknowledgement of our commitment to this field. The evening's discussions resonated deeply with our own vision at Hantong. President Lai Ka Seong spoke about the integration of AI into clinical TCM practice — including electronic patient records, symptom data analytics, and AI-assisted differential diagnosis — all of which align with our integrated solutions approach. The goal of bringing TCM into Malaysia's national public health system, championed by Dato' Ho Teck Khoon, further reinforces the enormous opportunity and responsibility that comes with operating in this sector.
